I am offering telehealth sessions using internet and telephone options! I am particularly interested in working with yindividuals and couples struggling with life transitions, those who are walking through loss, and those struggling with addictions and/or substance abuse.

Dallas Therapy Associates was founded by Dr. Bates in 2019. We are a group of psychologists who specialize in the treatment of individuals, couples, and families. As a group we consider the study of human development, the mind and human interactions our passion. Individually we are well versed in a variety of treatment approaches and have a diverse clinical background.

Madeline Flores is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas who has been practicing since 2022. She has a B.A. in Psychology from Texas Tech University and an M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Texas. Madeline focuses firstly on the therapeutic relationship in order to ensure each client feels safe and secure to begin the therapy process. Madeline meets clients where they are at that very moment and works with them to establish short term and long-term goals as well as set them up for success to meeting their therapy goals.

Alicia Brigham is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas who has been practicing since 2012. Alicia has a direct, yet calming and compassionate approach that creates comfort and ease in the therapeutic process for the client. Outside of work, Alicia enjoys social dancing, bachata, and salsa. She is a Zumba instructor/enthusiast.

Krista enjoys working with a wide variety of people. She believes the key to successful rapport building is open and honest communication from both counselor and the client. She believes in meeting a client where they are therapeutically and client by-in. It is important that individuals are active participants in their own lives and exhibit the direction they want to go through counseling. Her goal to provide a safe space through compassion, validation, empathy, patience, and support. By doing this, the counseling relationship will flourish, and individuals will have greater success.

My name is Stephen W. Baker M.A., Ed.D, LPC and I have been employed with Lifestance Health since May of 2021. Understanding that our feelings are ours alone, we sometimes require an objective ear to speak to when processing emotional concerns. As a licensed professional counselor, I value open talk-therapy and evaluate and discuss client's emotions as they see appropriate in the open counseling environment. As a practitioner, I believe that simply needing a calming environment to vent frustrations and or process feelings can be paramount to finding a personal sense of balance and wellness.

My name is Pam Slater, and my journey into the counseling field began when I was a High School English teacher, teaching young adults who were 3 years younger than myself. As a result, the students quickly found trust in me, and opened up to me about their personal issues. Having already completed my B.A. in English Education at Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas, I returned to school to obtain my Masters Degree in Counseling at Texas A&M University.
