I enjoy working with clients to help them address and successfully overcome personal life problems and other personal issues. I am experienced in working with individuals and couples who may have marital or relational difficulties, parenting, and other family problems in adulthood, including the care of elderly relatives. In my work with couples and families I generally explore familial patterns and include methods from psychodynamic psychotherapy, family systems, and contextual family therapies. The overall objective for therapy is always the successful resolution of the problems through a collaborative and therapeutic process which results in individual and collective growth.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) whom earned my Bachelor's degree from the University of New Orleans and my Master's degree from Southeastern Louisiana University. I am also a National Certified Counselor and a member of the Louisiana Counseling Association (LCA) and the American Counseling Association (ACA). I have honed my skills in counseling in a wide variety of areas such as individual counseling, marriage and family counseling, couples counseling, PTSD counseling, substance abuse counseling, and group counseling.

Transition is a natural part of life whether a transition from high school to college, getting married or divorced, or changing careers. Both positive and negative transition can bring stress into the family. I work with Adults & Children 7 years and above. As a military combat veteran, I have interacted with cultures around the globe. Assisting active military, veterans, and their families is a passion of mine. Conversely, I have great experience in settings where the average client has not had military experience.
