Transition is a natural part of life whether a transition from high school to college, getting married or divorced, or changing careers. Both positive and negative transition can bring stress into the family. I work with Adults & Children 7 years and above. As a military combat veteran, I have interacted with cultures around the globe. Assisting active military, veterans, and their families is a passion of mine. Conversely, I have great experience in settings where the average client has not had military experience. I take a direct approach when working with people where you meeting your goals is the focus for the sessions.
I am an approved EMDRIA certified therapist. I have extensive and intimate knowledge working with the active military, veterans, law enforcement /first responder and families. I offer services to individuals, couples/ marriage therapy, trauma therapy, career counseling. If you are planing to marry I offer pre-marriage counseling as well.
As a Veteran, I understand one barrier can be arriving at a physical office. If you can not make to my brick and mortar office in Covington Louisiana; I offer Tele-Health over a secure platform in for people living in Wa state and Louisiana. Counseling is a wonderful tool to gain the support needed to build strong lasting relationship with your family.
