I enjoy working with clients to help them address and successfully overcome personal life problems and other personal issues.
I am experienced in working with individuals and couples who may have marital or relational difficulties, parenting, and other family problems in adulthood, including the care of elderly relatives.
In my work with couples and families I generally explore familial patterns and include methods from psychodynamic psychotherapy, family systems, and contextual family therapies.
The overall objective for therapy is always the successful resolution of the problems through a collaborative and therapeutic process which results in individual and collective growth.
I am a Board Approved Clinical Supervisor (BACS) with the Louisiana State Board of Social Work Examiners and the Board of Licensed Professional Counselors as an LMFT supervisor, and am an Approved Supervisor with the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (AAMFT).
I am also approved by the Louisiana Court to practice Divorce Mediation for Family Disputes, Property Division, and Child Support and have had experience as a mediator for workplace employment disputes.
