I work with a variety of individuals, couples, and families dealing with such problems as anxiety, depression, stress management, and relationship difficulties. One of my special interests is assisting clients with improving their decision-making in important life areas. Recently I published a book on judgment and ways to enhance it. I am also experienced in providing psychological evaluations for assessment of attention deficit disorders, fitness for bariatric surgery, and court-related issues. I look forward to helping others explore strategies to enhance well-being and lead more fulfilling lives.

Having been a psychologist in practice for many years, I have developed a professional interest in assisting individuals with complete and thorough psychological testing and evaluations. Such evaluations are focused upon learning disabilities and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorders

Life is full of obstacles, whether they started early on in our life or later. Regardless, these life events can impact us in ways that can cause emotional, physical, and mental responses that we don’t always understand. We can get caught up in patterns and behavior we desperately want to breakout of but feel powerless to change. I truly understand the frustrations and hopelessness that can come with this, making it even more difficult to navigate through life and relationship-most often the ones that mean the most to us.

My name is Rita Brockie, MSEd, LMHC, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), in the state of Indiana, and I graduated from Indiana University South Bend with a Master of Science in Education, Clinical Mental Health Counseling (MSEd), and I have been working with individuals and families for over seven years in our community. I educate individuals and families about wellness dimensions in our lives including emotional, physical, spiritual, and relationships, and I assist clients in finding more satisfaction in these areas.
