Not every therapist is for a client and not every client for a therapist. The Client-Clinician relationship is of greatest importance. I work with a variety of populations, presenting issues, and within different realms of interventions and theories. It is not a one shoe fits all. I meet the client where they are and work accordingly. Now that is not to say I do not nudge gently with a soft challenge. If I didn't I would not be doing my work, nor the service you (and everyone) deserves! I utilize animals within therapy work in sessions.

One of my goals in counseling is to facilitate growth and development through compassionate understanding and research-based solutions. I believe that authentic and productive change begins by establishing trust in the counseling relationship. This is the foundation on which I work with clients, as we talk about issues in their past, develop skills for overcoming present challenges, and create a new, more hopeful future together.

It is hard to ask for help! I am passionate about working with individuals who are motivated and willing to grow personally. I help them understand they have more control in their lives than it may seem. I teach my clients to recognize their strengths and abilities which empowers them. I guide them in their decision making so they recognize what steps help them reach their goals faster and improve their quality of life!

At Insight Therapeutic Services, I emphasize the integration of body, mind and spirit. I recognize that all three aspects of one's self must be balanced in order to maximize our human potential. You will feel calm, relaxed and safe in my comfortable, Blue Ash office environment. I have experience working with a wide variety of clients. I have worked with families, couples and individuals affected by severe mental illness, those who were struggling with transitional life stressors as well as grief, pain and mortality issues.
