Hi there! We are Cook Counseling and Consulting Inc., a group of psychotherapists with diverse experiences and specialties. We work with clients with various concerns, including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, career challenges, BPD, and trauma. We use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Cognitive Processing (CPT), Dialectical (DBT), Couples Therapy, and Trauma Focused therapies. We believe in treating everyone with respect and working with clients and couples to identify strengths and develop the skills to navigate life's challenges. We also offer supervision for LSWs seeking independent licensure.

I am a licensed social worker with over 10 years of experience. I received my bachelor’s in social work as well as my master's of education as in intervention specialist at Mount Vernon Nazarene University. I also obtained a master’s of social work from Case Western Reserve University. I recently worked in hospice to provide therapeutic intervention to families, individuals, and couples as they work through major life events. I have worked within the hospital systems for oncology, obstetrics, hospice, crisis, and as a case manager providing therapy for a range of complex needs.

Imagine Recovery Counseling prioritizes trauma and somatic healing for mental health, substance use, and behavioral concerns. We serve adults over the age of 18 and specialize in individual and couples counseling services to address trauma related issues. I received my Master of Education from The Ohio University, specializing in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Rehabilitation Counseling. I worked at a community mental health center, focusing on behavior modification, anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, OCD, borderline personality disorder, trauma-related disorders, and dual diagnosis. I’m equally passionate about self-discovery, spiritual exploration, and working with marginalized groups. I emphasize the importance of multicultural competency in my professional and personal life.

I believe in creating a safe and supportive environment to help you work toward healing, empowerment, and reaching client-centered goals. I believe in treating the whole person, using mind-body approaches to treatment. I work with adolescents and adults on a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, infertility, traumatic birth, and pregnancy loss.

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Ohio University and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Kentucky. In addition, I am also certified in Clinical Social Work and Substance Misuse Disorder. I began her therapeutic career as a Mental Health Therapist in a male youth residential behavioral treatment facility, treating children of all ages. I have also worked in outpatient therapeutic settings, in-patient substance abuse treatment facilities, as well as many others.

I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist who provides services to women from across the lifespan with a broad range of clinical needs. My clinical training as a generalist has afforded me extensive experiences working with those seeking support for anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and interpersonal distress. In addition to individual therapy, I also provide couples and family therapy.

I provide a safe, non-judgmental space to process emotional experiences and to navigate life’s challenges with a caring and compassionate approach to therapy. Anxiety, depression, trauma, grief/loss, stress and life changes/transitions are among the many issues that can inhibit positive functioning in daily life and interpersonal relationships. I work with individual adults, adolescents, and school-age children as well as couples and families.
