I utilize various treatment modalities, including cognitive behavior therapy, solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and dialectical behavior therapy. I have been working with the members of our community for over eight years and have partnered with various agencies throughout the city to ensure success for my clients. Throughout my education and experience, I have found that the therapeutic approaches I favor, but not limited to, are Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I would like to utilize my experience gained throughout my career to empower clients from all age ranges with-in the Lexington community.

Lucy Bailey provides psychotherapy in the state of Kentucky as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Her passion and fascination have always been for people and their story. She received a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from California State University, Los Angeles, and a Master of Science in Social Work from Columbia University, in the city of New York. Lucy has also served as an adjunct professor for the school of social work at the University of Kentucky, teaching masters level students social welfare policy and analysis, and the importance of advocacy in various social settings.
