If not for the friends and counselors in my life, I don't know where I would be today. Growing up in Colombia during a time of civil unrest, I witnessed much suffering and was personally touched by it as I experienced the murder of my father. The effects this had on me and my family are what lead me to the place of seeking help. We all need someone who will listen, comfort, and guide us towards health and healing.
