I am passionate about working with those who struggle with anxiety, depression, low self confidence, anger, and communication and relationship issues. I also enjoy working with those who are facing life challenges and/or existential crises, as well as spiritual issues and the effects they can have on individuals, couples and families. I also have worked with those struggling with addiction, divorce and blended families. As a therapist certified in anxiety treatment, I can help provide coping techniques and management of anxiety which can often lead to improved self confidence and relationships.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida. My vision is to empower children, youth, and families in the communities through evidence-based counseling. My treatment approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and a systems approach. My passion is helping those who are feeling disconnected from themselves and others. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. Over the past 20+ years, I have worked with a diverse population of clients from child welfare, community based mental health, inpatient mental health, Department of Corrections, Department of Juvenile Justice, and within the education system. My approach is holistic and is tailored to the individual’s needs, collaborating with each client to achieve their personal goals. I have substantial experience working with many forms of mental illness, to include anxiety, depression, as well as, creating and implementing anger management programs.

Dr. Mott is a Licensed Psychologist at Counseling & Psychological Services of Central Florida which is located near downtown Winter Garden. He aims to make counseling an effective and comfortable process while treating every person with dignity and respect. The relationship between the client and therapist is one of the most important factors in successful therapy; therefore, Dr. Mott works with the individual to establish a client-centered approach which places the individual's goals and needs at the forefront of treatment.

My passion is working with children and young people dealing with depression, anxiety, self-harm, suicidal ideation, guilt & shame, trauma, self-esteem issues, and chronic illness/pain. Through a cyclical psychodynamic approach, she is able to address a client’s needs through the utilization of Psychodynamic, Cognitive-Behavioral, and Family Systems Therapy. She also practices from a culturally informed perspective and is an advocate for particularly marginalized communities. She understands that navigating one's mental health is not an easy task. Lauren is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who is passionate in helping individuals, couples and families gain the insight, awareness and skills to live their lives to the fullest. Lauren is especially passionate in helping children, teenagers and young adults, find the ability to build healthy relationships while managing symptoms of anxiety, depression, relational trauma and other roadblocks that might interfere with living a genuine and authentic life.

I am a counseling psychologist who works in the demanding field of Traumatic Brain Injuries and Post Traumatic Stress Disorders. I worked as a therapist in the Veterans Administration’s Vet Center program for fifteen years as well as having extensive experience with professional and amateur athletes. I enjoy working with anyone who is ready to take action and wants to make meaningful changes in their lives.

Dr. Jesus Castro works from a client-centered, solution-focused approach using empirically validated treatments through Interpersonal and Cognitive-Behavioral approaches. His individualistic approach allows for him to focus on clients specialized needs centered on client’s culture and preferences. He uses a here-and-now approach to bridge gap between client’s desired goals and overcoming issues preventing them from reaching said goals.

Over the past decade in practice, I have worked primarily with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship issues and suicidal ideation. I am trained in different modalities, which support my clients and teach coping skills that can reduce anxiety, depression and even self-harming behaviors. I approach the therapeutic relationship with each client collaboratively and with a non-judgmental approach. My objective is to have each client reach their indiviual therapy goals for optimal health.

My approach to therapy is that every client is different and has unique experiences and needs. Sometimes current life experiences such as school, work, and family dynamics can be stressful. Sometimes it is traumatic experiences from the past that impact people in the present. I can help people of all ages (children, teens, and adults) develop an understanding of their experiences and learn coping skills for the present. I work with people who have experienced trauma and loss including challenges regarding divorce, adoption, and abuse.

Rick is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC4187) and has over 27 years of professional counseling experience. He received his MA in Counseling from Rollins College in 1993 and his BS in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida in 1990. He has been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor since 1995. Rick specializes in couples counseling as well as working with adult survivors of childhood trauma, treating anxiety and depression, addiction, and grief recovery. Rick has experience working in a variety of settings including private practice and inpatient.

Marriage & family are simple words, but often complex environments. My own marriage, children, & now grandchildren have combined with years of counseling experience to give me both the desire & the knowledge to be helpful. I have been a new bride, a mother, and a grandma who takes the little one’s while my children travel with their spouse. I understand the challenges of marriage, and enjoy helping others find solutions to the deepest of issues. I also enjoy getting down on the floor with the little ones to use my unique skillset as a child therapy specialist to help them through things like trauma, difficulties in school and more.
