I am passionate about working with those who struggle with anxiety, depression, low self confidence, anger, and communication and relationship issues. I also enjoy working with those who are facing life challenges and/or existential crises, as well as spiritual issues and the effects they can have on individuals, couples and families. I also have worked with those struggling with addiction, divorce and blended families. As a therapist certified in anxiety treatment, I can help provide coping techniques and management of anxiety which can often lead to improved self confidence and relationships.
I believe in meeting people “where they are” in their lives and relationships. I help individuals understand the “why” that underlies certain thoughts, behavioral patterns and communication that may be negatively affecting them and those around them. I use a holistic approach so individuals, couples and families achieve a better understanding of themselves.
As someone who struggled with overcoming personal and relational issues in the past, and sought out therapy, I understand how vulnerable it feels to take that first step.
