I believe love is a verb by which we make strategic choices that are deeply rewarding and emotionally fulfilling. Built on attraction and attachment choices, love takes many forms but ultimately is our response to our deepest drives for meaning.

Individual clients typically work with me as they face major life transitions, deal with anxiety, and understand their authentic, neurodiverse selves. Clients will receive psycho-education around skills & somatic practices to incorporate into their life, and we will explore families of origin and choice and their impact on interpersonal relationships. Couples who work with me have a desire to proactively prepare for a long-term commitment to each other, build healthier patterns of communication and boundaries, or engage in a gentle collaboration process following a mutual decision to end their relationship.

I am passionate about helping people be the best version of themselves. With compassion and understanding, I work collaboratively with each individual to help them build on their unique strengths whilst moving forward. I can help you overcome challenges by breaking negative cycles of interaction, healing connections and improving communication. Areas of interest include: PTSD, trauma, DID, depression, anxiety, and grief/loss. I have training in EMDR, and my approach is solution focused, narrative and cognitive behavioral. I am licensed in FL, TX & NC.

You seek relief from anxiety, low self-esteem, trauma or relationship problems. You’re behaving in ways you know are unhealthy and have tried many things to help but can’t seem to get unstuck. I help you look at unhelpful behaviors with understanding and self-compassion. Together we collaborate to address areas that are out of balance or causing problems. This allows you over time to grow into your authentic self and nurture love and meaning in your life.

My goal as a therapist is to create a safe space for my clients to explore emotions, life experiences, and ways to improve quality of life.

I have been working in the mental health field for over fifteen years with a variety of clients including children and adolescents, families, and adults. I enjoy utilizing an eclectic approach to treatment, recognizing the uniqueness that each individual brings to treatment. I specialize in the treatment of exposure to trauma, providing treatment to survivors of sexual violence, childhood abuse, domestic violence, and military combat trauma. When addressing the needs of those who have survived trauma, I focus a great deal of attention on the neurological effects of exposure, as well as the mind and body connection.

Nakisha Rodriguez is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with 12 years of experience in mental health. She specializes in treating depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, and military members. Nakisha is passionate about helping adolescents, adults, couples, and families address their unique challenges and live more fulfilling lives. Nakisha earned her Master of Science in Human Services with a specialty in Mental Health Counseling at Capella University. She is an Air Force spouse and former military child. She has years of experience navigating the stressors and joys of military life.

Candra Edwards is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with more than 12 years of mental health experience. She is passionate about helping children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families identify, confront, and resolve unique challenges in order to live more fulfilling lives. Candra also works with women as they manage emotional challenges relative to pregnancy. She specializes in depression, anxiety, relationship issues, life transitions, peri/postpartum health, and grief/loss.

I provide individual and couples counseling for adults. As a couple's counselor, I work with couples to develop effective communication skills, improved emotional connection with one another, and healthy sexual intimacy. I enjoy working with adults on a wide variety of issues, including stress, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, codependency, grief, recovery from trauma, managing intense emotions, and obsessive thoughts or compulsive behaviors.
