He gained 10 years of experience after graduating from New York University with a Master's in Social Work. Nicholas worked with mentally ill, criminally-involved individuals with an in-home treatment model designed to assist in recovery. He then transitioned to the emergency room at Bellevue Hospital where his team would work to assist those in crisis.
