I am an EMDRIA certified EMDR therapist and have extensive experience with eating disorders and body image issues. I am interested in helping the whole person, paying attention to the intersection of spiritual, physical, and emotional health-to encourage overall well-being. I believe that the counseling relationship is critical to the healing process, so I strive to create a warm, genuine, understanding, and safe environment, while using evidence-based treatments.

I use a relational lens, and therefore each session looks different based upon the client’s needs and experience. I work with clients to create safer spaces that feel real and honor the many experiences an individual may be navigating. To me, the most important thing is to care and love one another. My work is rooted in care and love for humanity and the goal of betterment of our society as a whole, starting with the way we treat ourselves.

I am a therapist deeply committed to addressing all the issues interfering with your life. These may include trauma, feeling unlovable, or difficulties in your relationships. Together, we will seek resolutions for issues currently facing you while exploring and understanding significant events/relationships in your past. This exploration is essential, as experiences in your past directly and powerfully contribute to the present. This path of therapy leads you toward a greater capacity to realize your true potential and a greater capacity to engage in and experience joy in your relationships. Most importantly, it is the path toward revealing your own capacity of transformation within you.
