The counseling relationship provides a unique opportunity to partner with a caring professional to examine life events together in a safe environment, generate personal insight/awareness and identify areas for empowered change. I am dually licensed as a licensed clinical social worker and licensed clinical alcohol drug counselor. I have experience with working in various mental health settings which allows me to provide individualized therapy to meet your needs.

Treatment is a collaborative effort using both supportive and cognitive behavioral therapy methods. We will work together to develop the appropriate coping skills, perspective and supports that are needed to address the identified issues. I have over 19 years of full time experience as both an individual therapist and couples counselor, and over 20 years in the social service field. I welcome the opportunity to work together on the agreed upon goals and objectives, in order to achieve a successful result. My services focus on treating the adult population, 18 years of age and older, for individual and couples counseling.

The foundation of my approach is client-centered, believing that through therapeutic rapport change is possible. This approach has provided me with the opportunity to provide adolescents, families, couples and adults my areas of expertise in which I utilize various disciplines of treatment. Such areas include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness and skill building domains that include communication, the development of boundary setting, effective decision making and emotional regulation skills to help manage moods, sleep disturbance, stress and reactivity.

Noël has been recognized by Rutgers University as a Subject Matter Expert on the topic of adolescents, but she works with all ages. With over twenty years of experience, Noël specializes in assisting people struggling with: Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, Depression, Emotional Regulation & Anger, Gender Identity & Expression, LGBTQI+ topics, Non-suicidal Self-injury, Suicidal Thoughts, and Trauma. Noël’s trauma work has included car accidents, domestic violence, incest, sexual assault, and death-related trauma. Noël is a certified Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist and also certified in Critical Incident Stress Management.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and I aim to help those who may be at a point of feeling voiceless, hopeless and at times lost. I provide clients with an empathetic, nurturing approach, while also encouraging self-reflection and working towards being your best self. I began my career working in psychiatric unit and crisis units, psychiatric community homes, and currently working with children, adolescents, and adults addressing their mental health needs. Good day to you! My educational background is in Clinical Psychology and Counseling Psychology with a Post Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis. I began my career in providing behavioral and mental healthcare services in 2004. Since that time, I have devoted myself to helping youth, adolescents, and adults address neurodiverse needs. In June of 2016, I founded Beautiful Minds to meet the mental and behavioral health needs of youth, families, and adults living in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
