Hello, my name is Shari Bennett, I am a licensed independent clinical social worker with over 35 years of experience as a therapist . In 1988 I opened Interactions Counseling and Intervention Center, a group private practice in Westford, MA. At Interactions we believe in treating the child and adolescent within the context of the family, school and larger community. For adults, we offer individual, family, and couples counseling, separately or in combination, so that the person can achieve the best results in the shortest amount of time. We collaborate with you to design a treatment plan that is unique to your specific needs.

I am an experienced psychologist who specializes in conducting psychological, neuropsychological, educational, and developmental assessments for children and adolescents. Carefully designed and well-executed evaluations can identify barriers to success, offer diagnostic clarification and provide a wealth of information to help guide suitable school, home and therapeutic interventions. I also offer psychotherapy for a wide variety of difficulties including ADHD, ASD, mood & behavioral difficulties, as well as difficulties with adjustment, peer-relationships and executive functioning.

Over the last thirty years as a Clinical Psychologist, I have learned how children, adults, couples, and families break free of disheartening relational patterns and rewrite oppressive stories. Hi! I’m Caitlin, a Mental Health Clinician and Outpatient Therapist with the group practice Rooted Counseling Services in Westford & Chelmsford, MA. I come from a background working with children and families in Early Intervention and child welfare. I specialize in working with children as early as three years old, adolescents, young adults, and families. My priorities are to help my clients feel seen and heard, in addition to building confidence and empowerment.

As a child and adolescent therapist, I am passionate about helping young people navigate the challenges and complexities of growing up. In this somewhat scary and unpredictable world, I provide a safe and supportive space where young ones can explore their feelings, develop coping skills, and build resilience. Your child will learn essential skills for managing their emotions and regulating themselves whilst improving relationships, building self-esteem, and experiencing some relief from the things that are troubling them.

Comprehensive neuropsychological and educational assessments help parents better understand a student's learning profile and strengths and weaknesses, and help to identify underlying processing deficits, learning disabilities (e.g., dyslexia), executive functioning and organizational difficulties, attentional deficits and ADHD, as well as social-emotional-behavioral challenges that may be impacting school functioning such as ASD, anxiety, or depression.
