As a child and adolescent therapist, I am passionate about helping young people navigate the challenges and complexities of growing up. In this somewhat scary and unpredictable world, I provide a safe and supportive space where young ones can explore their feelings, develop coping skills, and build resilience. Your child will learn essential skills for managing their emotions and regulating themselves whilst improving relationships, building self-esteem, and experiencing some relief from the things that are troubling them.
I specialize in working with children aged 4 all the way through adolescence. I am experienced in working with young folks with anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, behavioral/school difficulties, as well as trauma. Training includes EXRP for OCD., certified in TF-CBT. EMDR and ARC for the treatment of trauma in children.
I utilize a combination of play therapy, art, cognitive behavioral therapy, and person-centered interventions. I believe everyone has unique strengths that can be explored and harnessed in their therapeutic work. The therapeutic relationship is central to the work that I do. It is also important to me to involve caregivers in our work. Collaboration is key.
