I specialize in psychiatric assessments, medication management, and supportive psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, bipolar spectrum disorders, insomnia, and ADHD. Rather than mask or cover your symptoms with medication, my goal is to take a wholistic approach to your care and address the root cause of your mental health challenges so that you can begin the process of healing. I'm a firm believe that without mental health we can never experience true health and wellness.

I graduated from the University of Texas Arlington and I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health NP. I am delighted to serve patients from preteen to older adults. I am experienced in treating patients with ADHD, depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, eating disorders, insomnia, substance use disorders among other disorders. I work closely with my patients to finding the best evidence based medication and psychotherapy modalities.

My ideal client is anyone experiencing Depression, Anxiety, Panic, disordered Eating (Binge/Purge/Restrict), issues with Focus/Attention/Concentration, low Energy, Insomnia, or Mood Regulation. I prefer to begin with one medication based on the patient's report of their most pressing symptom. I do not want patients to feel medicated, only the benefits that typically present with slow measured prescribing.

I am accepting NEW clients with same day appointments available. Also after-hours and weekends appointments available as well. In network with most major insurances in Washington State. Private pay rates made affordable. I value meeting my clients at any level they are without making them feel judged. During the initial session, i focus on patient-centered strategies and come up with a treatment plan that best suits your needs. The goal is to develop the best therapeutic relationship possible to ease any stress related to having appointments. Most treatment plan involves medication, therapy, or a combination of both.

He specializes in treating Anxiety and Mood disorders, ADHD, Autism and Sleep disorders. He utilizes both pharmacologic treatment and psychotherapy techniques. In addition, he works with patients on interpersonal growth and professional developmental.

Dr. Miguel De La Mora, DNP, PMHNP-BC is a University of Texas-trained board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. During his time in Houston, TX completing his Doctorate in Nursing Practice degree he completed clinical rotations at UTHealth Houston Harris County Psychiatric Center, Houston Methodist Hospital, Houston Behavioral Healthcare Hospital, Psychiatry of Texas, Synapse Psychiatry and Turning Point Psychiatry. He completed his doctoral research project on post-stroke depression and post-stroke anxiety.

As a board certified Psychiatric Mental health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), I specialize in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health conditions for children and adults. While proficient in all mental, emotional challenges, my specialties include anxiety, stress management, depression, OCD, PTSD, insomnia, and ADHD treatment. Additionally, I am also a Family Nurse Practitioner and Chiropractor, which allows me to see patients with mold illness, weight loss, hypothyroid, auto-immunity, and other metabolic complaints. I often teach my unique approach to students and providers and practice true, integrative care.
