I am a child and adolescent specialist. My practice centers on medication management and brief therapy. It is important to me that I develop a meaningful relationship with my patients so that I can support their personal success. Additionally, this will lead to a long-term connection that supports lasting health and wellness.

I work with children, adolescents, and adults (ages 5 and older) performing comprehensive psychiatric evaluations utilizing both a psychopharmacologic and brief supportive psychotherapeutic approach with a cognitive behavioral underpinning. I have experience in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of psychiatric syndromes. My knowledge and training add an invaluable perspective into the integrated nature of mental illness. I believe in collaborative integrated care to ensure optimal mental health.

We treat patients across the lifespan and have particular interests in Anxiety disorders, ADHD, Depression and Bipolar disorder. We believe psycho-pharmacology in conjunction with psychological interventions provide the framework for a happy, healthy life. As a Family Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, licensed to practice in the State of Washington. I have experience working with children, teens and adults. I have also worked with acutely ill adult clients in a number of inpatient facilities. I hold Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Nursing from the University of Southern Indiana, and have worked in the nursing profession since 1998. I am currently not accepting new patients for ADHD treatment.

Biography: I completed my master’s degree in nursing at the University of North Carolina in Greensboro, followed by a post-master’s degree in Family Nursing Practice (FNP) and a doctoral degree in nursing practice (DNP) at Winston-Salem State University in North Carolina. I also completed a post-doctoral degree in psychiatric mental health practice (PMHNP) (across the lifespan) at Frontier Nursing University in Kentucky. I am board certified in Adult, Child, and Adolescent Psychiatry (PMHNP-BC). I am also board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C), a DOT Medical Examiner, and SAMHSA (X-Waiver) addiction provider.
