I have a genuine, realistic approach to psychiatry that relates to a variety of ages, backgrounds, and ethnicities. I originally graduated with a bachelors in Psychology from Old Dominion University. I later returned to school to become a Registered Nurse in 2006 and eventually circled back into psychiatry via psychiatric home health. I decided to return to school to be a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner after many years of educating and advocating for mental health within the adult and geriatric community. In 2016, I graduated from University of Southern Indiana with a Masters of Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and subsequently certified by ANCC to practice and prescribe as a PMHNP (Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner). I continue the rewarding practice of managing adult and geriatric patients with complex medical co-morbities that require additional expertise in managing their mental health needs. I am a family-oriented and spiritually grounded practitioner that seeks to thrive within my calling to provide a holistic and realistic approach to mental health for my patients.

I stress that a mental health diagnosis is no different than any other medical diagnosis you may receive and should be treated as such. If a mental health diagnosis is made, believe that this is only a piece of you and does not define you as a person, often stressing that diagnostics are not the primary focus.

Robb is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) who treats a wide range of mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, family difficulties, school issues, sleep/insomnia, work-related stress, and other daily challenges. He provides quality, compassionate, concise, and nonjudgmental mental health services to clients of all ages. As a PMHNP, Robb's role includes educator, mental health advocate, therapist, and medication manager. While working in psychiatric hospitals, he has learned how to listen to his patients the way he wants to be listened to when he sees his own personal physician.

Dr. Peace specializes across lifespans, treating all ages from children, adolescents, adults and geriatric mental health and wellness. Dr. Peters serves Maryland and Virginia. She has over 20 years of healthcare experience working in different healthcare settings in inpatient and outpatient in the DMV area. Her experience includes working in; general medicine and surgery, bariatric surgery, telemetry, orthopedics, pediatric medicine, Critical Care Unit, and long-term care.

My ideal client believes there is a better way to thrive, not just live, but is unsure of the steps needed to achieve this goal. They are open to an inclusive, thorough approach tailored to where they are now and where they want to be in the future. I offer an approach to mental wellness involving nutrition, exercise, lifestyle modifications, and if necessary, medication. I aim to establish balance in the divergent complexities of modern life & guide patients to a sense overall stability; so, when the inevitable storm passes through their lives, they can maintain the course.

Ms. Gange provides addiction treatment as well as mental health medication management services to adolescents and adults. She provides treatment for co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders. Ms. Gange is certified to provide Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) for opiate use disorder using buprenorphine (Suboxone) and is experienced in treating other substance use disorders. An additional area of clinical focus includes comprehensive treatment for benzodiazepine dependence.

Bridget U. Famogun is a compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She holds a Master of Science degree as a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (Across the Lifespan) PMHNP, and she is Board Certified. Before becoming PMHNP, Bridget was a Psychiatric Registered Nurse for eight years with a history of working in the hospital & clinical Trial care setting. Bridget completed her Master's in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Walden University and graduated with honors.

Wykemia Swan is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of nursing experience. She has spent most of that time working in behavioral health care, collaborating with patients to improve their mental health by providing education on disease process, medication use, effectiveness, and support with their overall well-being.

Patricia Obeng is a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) who holds a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from George Mason University. With over 2 years of clinical experience, she seeks to help with the clinical assessment of mood disorders and many other mental health conditions including depression, stress, anxiety, bipolar disorders, schizophrenia, insomnia, and more.
