"The Lynchburg ADHD Clinic provides treatment for Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). The ADHD Clinic is spearheaded by our Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Dr. Barclay. Dr. Barclay maintained a counseling practice for many years, served a two year residency at Piedmont Psychiatric Center and received training from Harvard Medical School. Dr. Barclay now specializes in the assessment and treatment of ADHD and Autistic Spectrum Disorders via the use of non-invasive brain stimulation techniques. Relief is just around the corner without the use of medication. Diagnosis is key. Accuracy is key. DO NOT ALLOW anyone to diagnosis your child by giving ONE SINGLE TEST. NO SINGLE TEST can accurately diagnose ADHD. A licensed expert needs to gather a great deal of information and extensive testing must be completed. We provide that the thorough assessment needed. We know how to treat ADHD without Medication. We are using MEDICATION ALTERNATIVES with great success. Many families are very comfortable with medications being the treatment of choice for ADHD. If you, however, are uncomfortable with medication, then we an alternative that you may be interested in."

"We are a 12-step based addiction center that uses holistic methods in addition to standard addiction treatment strategies to lead to abstinence in a manner that focuses on the whole person. You will feel the difference when you walk into our facility. Our experienced and dedicated staff will display only respect for those, such as you, who have found the courage to take the first step to recovery. For those who need it, we provide medically monitored inpatient detoxification treatment. While many programs provide a cookie cutter approach to detox, we recognize this is a stage that many experience great trepidation over. We always treat the individual not the symptoms, so first you will receive a comprehensive evaluation in order to develop a plan that meets your individual needs. We will provide education as to what you can expect during the withdrawal process. Our approach is to get you off the drug as quickly as possible while ensuring the safest and most comfortable process at the same time. Our staff will provide help managing any discomfort you may experience during your detox while also providing the support and encouragement so critical during these beginning days."
