I have been blessed to practice psychiatry for the past 11 years. It is an honor to walk the journey of life with my patients, helping them work towards their goals free of burden. I have developed a pharmacologically conservative practice that is founded on listening and developing patient relationships, in the convenience of an accessible West Houston location. With a diverse practice background and the knowledge from being triple boarded in Adult Psychiatry, Child Psychiatry, and Addiction Medicine; I am able to offer experience in treating a wide array of mental illness.

I manage a small private practice with a focus on individualized psychiatric care. I work to observe a practice style that is oriented around the principles of psychotherapy by engaging in education, insight generation, and thoughtful medical planning. In a mindful process we attend to an individual’s narrative with a respect to suffering but also the soul’s innate drive to heal from the wounding of life.

That is why we see patients of all backgrounds, such as students, athletes, professionals, and retirees. We strive to be comprehensive in your care, listening to your needs and providing you with a personalized treatment plan. You might be recommended medication management, psychotherapy, or both. Do you seek deep healing without pressing pause on your life? InnerSpace is an intensive outpatient program designed in an 8-week cycle. Our treatment methods help you find wellness while keeping you out of the hospital. With an interdisciplinary approach, InnerSpace combines therapeutic and psychiatric modalities. We specialize in treating mood and anxiety disorders, ADHD and learning disorders, and various forms of addiction. Group sessions occur on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 4 pm to 7 pm. The program also includes individual therapy, individual psychiatry sessions, family sessions, treatment planning, and a feedback session upon completion of the program.

ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS - We help patients establish a professional relationship with a dedicated physician who knows their medical history and medication regimen. This provides the patient with continuity of care and on-demand access to a doctor through telemedicine or in-person appointments. We manage a wide spectrum of illnesses, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, OCD, ADHD and insomnia. Patients with these conditions have the best chance of improvement when they have regular appointments with the same physician who works with the patient in a professional setting.
