I am a highly experienced board-certified psychiatrist with added qualifications in addiction psychiatry. I spend a good deal of time and energy to establish an accurate diagnosis, then create a treatment plan tailored to the individual. I am interested in learning about a person’s strengths and resources as well as his or her challenges and conflicts. Because of my training and experience I am able to be helpful to adults of different ages who come to me with a wide range of mental health concerns.

Trained at Harvard, Johns Hopkins, and the University of Pennsylvania, I have been in the clinical practice of psychiatry, psychotherapy, and psychopharmacology in the Philadelphia area for over forty years, and provide crisis-intervention, consultation and short- and long-term therapy for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I have extensive experience in the treatment of psychosomatic and eating disorders, depression and suicidal behavior, anxiety, psychosis, sexual and physical abuse, and addictions, among other problems, and also provide consultation and ongoing clinical supervision for mental health professionals of all disciplines.

I am Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry and have been practicing since 2005. A central focus of Ethos is our encouragement of mindfulness, meditation, spirituality and healthy living in general for all of our patients. We can either refer our patients to these therapies or provide guidance onsite. Dr Eileen Teyim is an ANCC board certified psychiatric Nurse practitioner and is a graduate of Desales University, Center Valley, Pa. She strives to provide culturally informed and patient centered care tailored to each individual and values the meaningful connections made with her patients. She is dual certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. This allows her to treat each patient with a holistic approach. She has extensive experience in dealing with diagnosis such as ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar, Schizophrenia, Insomnia. We are an approved center for Spravato (Ketamine).
