My name is Linda Griffin Nsombi, I’ve worked in mental health for many years. Caring for clients of all ages and backgrounds as well as drug/alcohol addiction treatment. Treating depression, bipolar, anxiety, schizophrenia, OCD, ADHD and more. I look forward to assisting you with your life challenges. I will provide medication education as well as supportive therapy during medication management visit.

I've been a practicing psychiatric nurse since 1994 and as Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner since 2005. Many areas of treatment have included mood disorders, anxiety, PTSD/trauma related issues and eating disorders. Working at many different levels of care, including inpatient, outpatient, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient has allowed me to see mental health at a variety of intensities. I believe in the motivation of the individual and integrating with their health care team to allow the individual to function at the highest level. We are using Zoom to provide quality and safe tele-health sessions.

I offer telehealth, in-person, and in-home services to accommodate patient needs. I practice general psychiatry for patients 13 years of age and older.

I treat a broad range of problems, based on years of experience. Often, I combine medication and psychotherapy with good results. I treat acute conditions, such as severe depression and anxiety, to help the patient restore his or her level of functioning. I also treat longer-lasting conditions which might allow one to "get by", but feel as if they are tied in knots. I feel positive about having helped many people make long-lasting and important changes in their lives.

I enjoy working with individuals from 16 years old to aging adults. Working in healthcare for so many years, I understand the struggles of the things we carry and tuck under the rug which really gives me a strong passion for helping healthcare workers and giving back to that community. I also have a strong passion for military, minorities, adopted, and LGTBQ+ communities. But really, I want to help everyone I can. Hi! I have been in mental health care for almost 15 years in a variety of settings. The bulk of my experience has been in the high acuity setting of Emergency Psychiatry. I have a passion for empathic care that seeks to understand and help those dealing with not just mental illness, but the stress of life in general. I treat individuals of all ages and mental health concerns such as depression and anxiety. I am also particularly passionate about providing care for psychotic and psychosis related disorders, as well as working with sexual identity and gender identity concerns.

I provide exclusively online services through my practice “Next Chapter Psychiatry.” I believe mental health care is NOT one size fits all, and because of this, it's my priority to tailor care specific to a person and their life experiences. I also want to make communication more effective and provide thorough all-around care and provide direct communication with your provider with prompt response times.
