I provide both prescription medication management and also psychotherapy with meditative focus to help my clients obtain symptom relief. I am also a Fulbright scholar/researcher and practitioner of Traditional Tibetan Medicine which helps me offer a more holistic understanding of the causes of mental health and wellbeing.

I'm an ANCC board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with a sub specialty in Women's Health. I have experience working with patients across the lifespan with challenges facing diagnosis of neurodevelopmental disorders, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, anxiety disorders, as well as personality disorders. I strive to provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and psychotherapy. I especially enjoy working with young adults and women.

I am an ANCC board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner dually certified in Psychiatry and Family Health, specializing in addiction medicine and an extensive array of mental health disorders, including but not limited to LGBTQIA and adjustment challenges.

I also received my Master of Science in Nursing Education from Walden University and my Bachelor in Nursing from Adventist University of Health Sciences. I am fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.

Joji is an ANCC board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with a master's degree in science and a doctorate in nursing practice. Since graduating, she has worked as a psychiatric nurse practitioner in an inpatient psychiatric setting. She has a wide range of experience working with patients with depression, anxiety disorders, OCD, PTSD, psychotic disorders such as schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorders, substance use, and bipolar disorders. She also worked with patients receiving ECT treatments to manage treatment-resistant depression and other severe psychiatric conditions.

I completed a six-year combined undergraduate-graduate medical school program at the University of Missouri, earning my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Doctorate of Medicine. I completed my residency at the University of Maryland/Sheppard Pratt program in Baltimore, followed by a Forensic Psychiatry fellowship through Columbia University in New York City.
