Welcome all! My name is Kemi and I am the Owner of Harmony & Unity Mental Health. I am a Dual Board Certified Psychiatric & Family Nurse Practitioner. I have over 15 years of experience in healthcare. I enjoy helping clients meet their goals and improve their overall health. Taking the first step can be a tough decision, but it can also be fulfilling over time. I believe my job is to appropriately help you on your goal towards betterment of body and mind.
I offer medication management services for children and adults. I am licensed, and see clients virtually, in NY/NJ/MA. I ONLY prescribe controlled substances in NJ. I also at times provide brief psychotherapy combined with medication management, but I do not provide stand alone therapy. I am medication conservative in practice.
I can understand the trepidation in starting with a new provider. I strive to help ensure that our working relationship is as as smooth as I can. I believe that the relationship should be collaborative, appropriate, and evidence based. While medication can be integral, there are other aspects to be considered on this journey to health!
