I am an experienced psychiatrist having worked with children, adolescents, and adults over many years in a variety of settings, including private practice, day treatment, residential treatment, public schools and hospital, using a variety of modalities, including individual therapy, family therapy, parent counseling and medication. I follow an eclectic approach to treatment, with a strong background in psychodynamic and family systems.

I am a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner of 5 years with 20 years of experience in healthcare. It is my mission to listen compassionately by accepting each individual in a nonjudgemental way. I then earned by BSN from SUNY Plattsburgh while working full time as a nurse manager of one of the wings of the Vermont Veterans Home. I found my love of mental health diagnosis and treatment while working with veterans and their families. This inspired me to then earn my training as a PMHNP from SUNY Stony Brook. I have experience in working with people of all ages and backgrounds, including substance use disorders.
