I am an experienced psychiatrist having worked with children, adolescents, and adults over many years in a variety of settings, including private practice, day treatment, residential treatment, public schools and hospital, using a variety of modalities, including individual therapy, family therapy, parent counseling and medication. I follow an eclectic approach to treatment, with a strong background in psychodynamic and family systems.
I have a specialty in child and adolescent psychiatry, and work closely with parents in the course of their child's treatment. I am an Attending Psychiatrist in the Division of Child Psychiatry at the New York-Presbyterian Hospital Payne Whitney Westchester and an Assistant Professor in Clinical Psychiatry at Weill Cornell Medical College.
