I’m Jacqueline Thompson, a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with nearly two decades of experience in psychiatric nursing. I have spent my entire career providing care for those who struggle with mental illness—helping them to make their mental illness more manageable, or to help them move past it. I would love to do the same for you. I became a PMHNP-BC a little over four years ago after spending 14 years as a nurse, and 13 of those years specializing in psychiatric care.

Corbin transitioned to outpatient psychiatric care in 2020, and has been practicing in behavioral health ever since! His goal was to pursue a career in mental healthcare in order to help alleviate the shortage of mental healthcare providers in this country. She has over 16 years in the nursing field and has a special interest in treating bipolar disorders in addition to depression, anxiety, and PTSD symptoms. She believes that spirituality is an integral part of health that often gets overlooked. Her goal is to bridge the gap between spiritual faith and traditional medicine.

Catelyn specializes in psychotropic medication management. She has worked with a diverse client population, closely partnering with patients to create comprehensive treatment plans. She prides herself on actively listening to each concern and diligently following through to enable healthy outcomes. Catelyn's background enables her to treat an array of mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, Bipolar disorder, Schizophrenia, PTSD, insomnia, eating disorders, personality disorders, addictions, behavioral concerns in dementia, and more. Victoria Brooks is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years experience in the medical field. Victoria earned her Master’s degree in Nursing at Eastern Kentucky University in 2022 and her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2019. Victoria practices in general psychiatry, including (but not limited to) the treatment of depression, mood disorders and anxiety.

With a foundation of psychotherapy ("talk therapy") and the ability to utilize medications if needed, I offer active ways to find help. I offer patient-centered and evidence-based treatments to assist in a wide spectrum of mental health and relationship issues - whether these issues have just arisen or have been present lifelong. Julie McClure, PA-C is joining Beautiful Mind Behavioral Health Services as a psychiatry physician assistant practitioner. She has previously spent nearly 10 years working with children and adults with rare metabolic disorders. In addition to being certified by the National Committee on Certification of Physician Assistants and licensed by the North Carolina Medical Board, Julie is a registered dietitian. She has a particular interest in treating patients with generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), panic attacks, depression, bipolar, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), substance abuse and disordered eating.
