OPENING mid-lat February 2021: We provide Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) for treatment resistant depression and treatment resistant obsessive compulsive disorder. We are a specialty clinic and we work with your current provider for the duration of treatment, which can last for 4-6 weeks. TMS is non invasive direct stimulation to the part brain that is not working well in depression or OCD to induce healing with the goal being reduction in symptoms and possible remission. We treat adults and are happy to call Las Cruces home. We provide tele appointments for evaluations with treatment being done in our office.

Dr. Elena Crespin is a Doctoral-level, Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who provides quality mental health care. Dr. Crespin is qualified to diagnose, treat, and prescribe medication for adolescents, and adults. Elena completed her Doctorate of Nursing Practice at New Mexico State University after being a Registered Nurse for 15 years. Over her course of nursing practice, she has had the privilege of working in many areas, including psychiatry, post-surgical care, gastroenterology, primary care, long term care and addiction medicine. She enjoys working with a variety of age groups.

My clinical focus is on holistic and patient centered care for adults and adolescents, with special attention given to treating ADHD, anxiety, depression, stress related disorders, as well as substance use disorder. Further, I am trained in motivational interviewing which I find to be effective tools in understanding and treating these issues. I believe in taking a compassionate, nonjudgmental approach to helping my patients reach their goals. My practice emphasizes the importance of creating a safe, trusting therapeutic relationship to facilitate the process of healing.

I am a prescribing psychiatric nurse practitioner with additional background/certifications in critical/emergency care. I have two doctoral candidacies (Nursing and Law), & a degree in Health Services Admin. All have been helpful in advocating for my patients & understanding complex medical conditions affecting mental health. I’ve 20 yrs of experience working with all ages, and currently treat age 5 to 64 and offer telehealth to all areas of New Mexico. I treat children, adolescents & young adults. I also offer therapy & integrative/holistic psychiatry approaches. I’m able to prescribe all medications.

Desiree Provencio is a doctoral prepared board-certified psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner born and raised in Northern New Mexico. She came from humble beginnings and is dedicated to serving the mental health needs of the local community. Dr. Provencio has over 10 years of experience working in the field of psychiatry. She has a wide range of psychiatric experience working with children and adolescents, individuals with developmental disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, and adults with all mental health needs.
