Most of my clinical time is spent in assessing patients, making pharmacologic recommendations in the management of major psychiatric disorders, and providing follow-up medication management. Areas of interest include the management of affective disorders - major depressive disorder and bipolar disorder; anxiety disorders, PTSD and OCD; adult ADHD; the interface of major medical illness and psychiatric response; and a variety of adjustment disorders resulting from lifestyle issues. I also have experience in the management of substance use disorders and am the Medical Director of a nationally acclaimed addiction program in Towson.

I have over 20 years in psychiatric mental health care, from an RN through being an NP. As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, I am certified to prescribe medications and treat people with mental health challenges from youth through late adulthood. Working with people from a variety of ethnic and economic backgrounds gives me deeper understanding of you.
