I have worked in healthcare for over forty years, twenty of which working as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. I love working with folks of all ages with short and long-term mental and physical conditions. I also enjoy helping those who are going through a rough patch that, as we all know, life tends to throw unexpectedly. I recognize that staying healthy requires a more complex treatment plan than simply prescribing a pill; although I can do that, I also offer tools to help you communicate, to feel better about yourself and your life, and to find your purpose and what brings you true, internal happiness.
I encourage holistic, integrative wellness approaches such as incorporating good nutrition, therapy and while paying close attention to the multitude of psychosocial factors that are crucial components of a solid treatment plan for clients to reach optimal functioning and wellbeing.
My style is authentic, genuine and I take your goals seriously so that you always feel heard. I am well trained in clinical care and pay close attention to how people behave and think. I am grateful to have worked and trained with some of the best practitioners in the area. I also have, as we say in Boston where I come from, a ‘wicked sense of humor’!
