Wanda’s professional journey commenced with the solid foundation laid during her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) studies at Howard University. I have maintained an active clinical practice in Annapolis for over 15 years. I treat children and adults for a wide variety of conditions including depression, anxiety, inattention and mood instability.

She was honored as a fellow in APA, reflecting her dedication and contribution to the field of psychiatry. She earned her PhD in Behavioral Neuroscience at the University of Texas at Austin and completed a postdoctoral training at Harvard Medical School in Boston. She served as chief resident during her psychiatry residency training at St. Elizabeths Hospital in Washington, DC, and as chief fellow during her Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship training at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore.

Throughout her years of experience, she faced numerous situations where understanding and recognizing a patient’s mental health was essential. Brittany has extensive experience working with children, adolescents and their families. Her mission is to help and advocate for patients who struggle to be heard and understood, and to manage their treatment with empathy and compassion. In addition to her practical experience, Brittany has a unique ability to connect with individuals, a capacity to understand them, and the empathy to meet them where they are.

Josyane Kengni, CRNP, PMH is a board-certified nurse practitioner in Psychiatry and Behavioral Health. She has a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in nursing with years of nursing experience in a variety of settings. Our prescriber will work with you in the way that works best for you because her outcome is to find the right solution to your problem. Josyane draws on her experience as a medical nurse to rule out any possible medical conditions that could be affecting a patient’s mental health before treating a psychiatric condition. Joy has worked for 12 years as Psychiatric Nurse with all ages and in different settings. These include inpatient, community, nursing home and group home settings. At King Health Systems, we provide case management, therapy, and medication management for clients with Medicaid who are struggling with addiction, behavioral issues, depression, anxiety, trauma, bipolar, and more. We serve children ages 3 and up. We are currently offering telehealth and in person services. Our case management (PRP) services can assist clients with housing referrals, employment support, stress management, budgeting and money management, coping skills, socialization skills, parenting skills and mentoring services.
