I provide a trustworthy therapeutic relationship for couples, families, individuals, and children with anxiety and depression. I listen, follow your lead, ask for clarification and comment on your feelings and perceptions. Together, we focus on understanding and mastering your upsetting impulses and conflicts, and on modifying the way that early relationships affect current relationships. You’ll make links between your thoughts, feelings, and experiences now and in the past, decode your dreams, recognize your ways of protecting yourself, acknowledge how you have been held back, and move forward in career, friendship, and love.
I offer assessment, therapy, and consultation, and almost no meds. Certified in psychoanalysis for children and adults, I am well-known for applying this psychoanalytic approach to psychotherapy with couples and families, as well as individual adults and children. I offer supervision and consultation for therapists and consultation to organizations.
I provide an atmosphere of privacy, safety, and acceptance. You will be free to say whatever is on your mind, eventually including things that you had hidden even from yourself. Together we will face your anxiety and depression and find alternative ways of dealing with them, which frees your energy for creative work, friendships, and pleasure in intimacy.
