About
I pride myself on being a caring, compassionate, and highly skilled psychiatrist. I am committed to understanding each patient and his or her unique situation. Furthermore, I utilize the most contemporary treatments available in mental healthcare to effectively treat my patients and bring about positive change in their lives. My particular areas of expertise include working with children, adolescents, and young adults. I am board certified in both child and adolescent psychiatry and general adult psychiatry. I have served as the medical director for psychiatric services at a number of the largest psychiatric centers in the nation.
I have more than thirteen years of experience in clinical practice, teaching, and leadership. I believe that a strong alliance with my patients is essential to achieving the best outcomes.
My practice approach involves the integration of psychotherapy, mindfulness interventions, exercise, creative endeavors, as well as the thoughtful and judicious use of medications when clinically indicated in the treatment of children, adolescents, and adults.
