“Accepting new patients” - I am a board certified psychiatrist with extensive experience in wide range of psychiatric disorders. I work with both adolescents and adults struggling with depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, PTSD, ADHD, substance use disorders and other psychiatric disorders.

Dr. Marie Gipson is a multilingual board-certified psychiatrist and child and adolescent psychiatrist who places her patient’s interests first. She believes that a psychiatrist’s role is, at its most basic, one of stewardship of a person’s unlimited potential.

Most people at some point in their lives find themselves feeling stuck, unable to break out of old patterns or achieve their goals. Many of the individuals I work with are outwardly functioning well in many areas of their lives, but struggling with depression, anxiety, or navigating life transitions. Talk therapy can be a powerful tool to help people move past these roadblocks and build a more meaningful and full life.

I am a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner who is passionate about helping individuals develop a deeper understanding of themselves by evaluating the biological, psychological, and social factors that contribute to their emotional concerns. I am available for appointments via tele-health Tuesday and in person on Friday for medication management. I will soon be expanding my hours of operation. I am passionate about meeting clients where they are, helping them identify their core challenges, and assisting you to become your best self and ultimately live your best life!

Self-discovery and implementation of new habits and skills can be uncomfortable. My ideal client is someone who is ready to be uncomfortable and one who is dedicated to making an investment in their mental health. Having someone who is consistent with their care and transparent about their feelings and symptoms will lead to an efficient resolution of concerns and achieving goals.

Telehealth sessions available. We are an established practice providing care to the community since 2011. Our specialty is treating patients with anxiety, depression and ADHD. My desire to make a difference in the mental health field led me to further my education at Regis College, where I graduated with my master’s in nursing in May 2023, specializing in Psychiatry. As a Psychiatric Mental Health NP, my approach to patient care is deeply rooted in compassion and understanding. I VALUE validation; focus on the present, ensure that her patients feel seen, heard, and supported throughout their healing journey.

Dr. Marken is a Columbia- and Cornell-trained, board-certified adult and child/adolescent psychiatrist. He was on faculty at Harvard Medical School and is now on faculty at New York University. Dr. Marken predominantly provides psychotherapy and/or medication management. He has a patient-centered approach that provides thorough and individualized care for your particular needs. As a physician, Dr. Marken focuses on the interaction between the biological, the psychological, and the environmental contributors to mental health. He is a member of the International Society for Sports Psychiatry and works with athletes at all levels.

Many teens and young adults struggle with various aspects of their lives, be it identity, relationships, work/school, or past experiences that affect how they feel and navigate the world. I work with many young adults who may seem high functioning at first glance but struggle with depression, anxiety, stress, or other emotional issues. I have particular experience supporting Asians and Asian Americans navigating issues of race, identity and culture. Talk therapy and medications can be a powerful way to help people process, make sense of, and change these patterns that hold them back from living the life they want.

Dr. Toppelberg is an experienced, Harvard-trained child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist, usually working with ages 3-30. He evaluates and treats emotional/ behavioral difficulties including ADHD, depression, trauma, stress, anxiety, and selective mutism, and those preventing weight loss. He has focused on issues of performance at work, study and competitive sports. He regularly works with tour-level tennis players and other professional and student athletes. He is an expert in neurodevelopmental disabilities, as well as learning and language disabilities. He runs psychiatric services at an excellent school for children/adolescents with autism and other neurodevelopmental disabilities, the prestigious New England Center for Children.
