We are a group of Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP) with a passion for helping individuals identify their goals in mental health and approaching those goals holistically. Considering medication can be daunting, but our team takes the time to assist those to make informed decisions that would best suit them!

I am a Harvard, Columbia/Cornell, and UC San Francisco trained adult, child/adolescent, and addiction psychiatrist. In addition to treating mental health disorders across the lifespan (depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, for instance), I have particular expertise and experience in treating people of any age with co-occurring struggles with substances, such as opioids, methamphetamine, cocaine, benzodiazepines, cannabis, and alcohol.

I really enjoy working with people who are struggling with their mental health and know it's time to get help. Perhaps it is their first time reaching out or maybe their current medication and therapy regimen isn't working at well as it could be. I love to work with patients collaboratively, so that we can make decisions together and work as a team. I am particularly skilled at working with older adolescents and young adults in their 20s and early 30s as they navigate their way into healthy adulthood.

I am a nurse practitioner offering medication management, and other treatments for mental health through Empowered Psychiatry in MA and in CA. I am Johns Hopkins-educated, LGBTQ+ positive, sex-positive, poly-, body- and kink positive, and I am pretty calm, casual, and relaxed, with some dry humor sprinkled in. I prioritize mutual open communication in order to work with each individual's goals. I try to avoid stigma and shame, including about substances, neurodivergence, and unfortunate past events, and I aim to work together to define and pursue health and wellness goals.

As a Harvard-trained board-certified child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist, I believe that excellent psychiatric care is centered on the whole person, not just on a diagnosis or a specific medication. With all that life demands, most people oftentimes struggle with complicated and conflicting feelings. The decision to seek help for your mental health is a big one and the path that leads to meaningful, positive change is not always an easy one. I hope to make this path as comfortable as possible by providing you with an understanding, warm environment that fosters positive change.

In my experience as a psychiatrist and psychoanalyst, I have attempted to help people struggling with emotional difficulties, compromised productivity, troubled relationships, and stunted creativity. Sometimes these difficulties yield to medications, advice, or short-term strategies. Sometimes they are the product of conflicts with a long history that result in frustrating repetitions that cost the patient time, pleasure, and fulfillment. Until these conflicts and feelings can be talked about they will show up as action and people will feel stuck and hopeless. Psychotherapy and psychoanalysis can break this logjam and free the individual to choose their own course.

Khadija Tuitt is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with over 15 years of nursing experience in both acute inpatient and community outpatient psychiatric nursing. Khadija specializes in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating individuals across the lifespan who suffer from a host of mental health issues including depression, anxiety and panic disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), bipolar and mood disorders, psychotic disorders, and co-occurring substance use disorders.

If you need help to gain or regain a good enough balance and a way to find happiness in your life, I have decades of valuable experience. I am known as a "psychiatrist's psychiatrist," a true healer, and one who is gifted at working with "challenging" situations" -- both individual and couples. Therapy is my specialty, and I evaluate and prescribe medication only for patients I treat in therapy when it is truly indicated. I particularly enjoy working with individuals who are more interested in developing their own capacities than in complaining about the inadequacy of what they find outside themselves in the world and in other people. I do not provide "medication management" if that is a primary reason for consultation. As a Board Certified Psychiatrist I help patients struggling with depression and moodiness, attention regulation, severe anxiety and stress, and addictive behaviors, among others. Diagnostic labels can be useful if you may need medications; but,even more important is our work together to understand the context of your current difficulties. What are the triggers for your symptoms; what are the meanings you give to feelings; and, how do your relationships, past and present, effect your coping style? My aim is to facilitate your growth towards ever greater authenticity, and to empower you to make healthier choices and maintain a more positive outlook.

Nataliya is a practicing clinician at Boston Neurobehavioral Associates, treating patients of all ages with a variety of mental health diagnoses. She moved to the US from Ukraine in 1991, with a degree in physics from the University of Tartu, Estonia. Nataliya received her Bachelor of Art in Biology from Wellesley College and studied platelet signaling at Beth Israel Hospital. She later entered a field of drug discovery as a platelet biologist and immunologist and worked at Biogen IDEC and Merk. Then, she graduated from Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner program.

Ellis Marie Mace is an ANCC board-certified and fully licensed Psychiatric Mental-Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Saint Louis University. Prior to becoming a specialized NP, she was a registered nurse for twelve years in psychiatry, medical-surgical, nephrology, and post-anesthesia care. Native to Alabama, she was raised with three brothers in a close community of friends while participating in theatre, piano, creative writing, and tennis.

Dr. Victoria Adeleye is a doctoral-trained Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with over ten years of clinical experience providing compassionate care to patients with mental illness. She has honed her skills as an addiction specialist with over seven years of experience in the field, providing non-judgmental treatment to individuals battling the disease of addiction. Victoria has a robust educational background, with a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from UMass-Amherst, a Master of Science in Nursing in Psychiatry/Mental Health from Northeastern University, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from MCPHS University.

Dr. Munir graduated with academic distinction, receiving his medical degree from Baqai Medical University in Karachi, Pakistan in 2013. He completed his psychiatry residency training at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Boston, MA in 2022 at which point he joined BNBA. Dr. Munir's goal as an early career psychiatrist is to accommodate the wide spectrum of needs of his patients. He is a staunch proponent of patient advocacy, and emphasizes the importance of the therapeutic alliance. He is attuned to the vast array of different cultural, religious and political backgrounds of our diverse communities.

I am a psychopharmacology expert with 26 years of experience. I provide psychiatric evaluation and treatment to children, adolescents and adults with a history of ADHD, Anxiety Disorders, Panic Disorder, Anxiety Attacks, OCD, Depression, lack of motivation and insomnia. I am board certified in general psychiatry and also child and adolescent psychiatry. My full time work is medical director at McLean Hospital (Named America's #1 Hospital for Psychiatry by U.S. News and World Report). I am a clinical instructor in psychiatry at Harvard Medical School.
