Hello there, I’m Dr. Gaddi, a physician and psychiatrist. I was born and raised in Venezuela where I attended Med School. I completed my training as a psychiatrist in at University of Illinois in Peoria. I’m the founder of Equal Mental Health, a practice dedicated to provide mental health services to the LGBTQ+ community and allies in the neighborhood of Northalsted (formerly known as Boystown) in Chicago.

I know that listening and understanding are at the forefront of how care should be provided. I want you to feel confident and empowered that your treatment plan is as unique as you are. I hope you’ll find comfort in knowing I take an individualistic approach with every client I meet. Your needs matter and I want you to feel heard and seen. Ajit Kalayil is trained to use both medication and talk therapy to treat all psychiatric disorders including depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and perinatal mental health. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of emotional and mental health conditions at his clinic in Chicago, Illinois. Kalayil works with patients from a broad range of backgrounds. Dr. Marc Sandrolini is a Psychiatrist in Illinois who has been practicing since 1996. Dr. David V. Alvarez is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Illinois who has been practicing since 2009. Dr. Alvarez has experience working with numerous populations across various levels of psychiatric care and settings (e. g. , inpatient, outpatient, PHP, home health, telehealth). He has experience and knowledge from working with a broad range of patients. Dr. Alvarez loves the work and believes it is a gift to be able to work with the patients that he does. He works with compassion, empathy, and humor.

Dr. Ashok Nagella is an ABPN Board Certified Psychiatrist that specializes in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry but does see clients up to age of 64. He has been in practice for 20 years in various settings from inpatient to outpatient psychiatry, has supervised and taught psychiatry residents and medical students, and has worked with a very diverse clientele from private practice settings to community mental health. Dr. Nagella grew up and attended school in the Chicago area.

I am excited to help individuals explore their mental wellness, and find the best modality to improve their quality of life. My background includes a Bachelor's of Science in Exercise Physiology, Master's of Science in Nursing, and Doctorate of Nursing Practice in both Psychiatric Mental Health and Adult Primary Care. My training in psychiatry includes the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic mental health conditions, along with crisis management.

Dr. Nakshabandi draws from 10 years of psychiatric training experience across a wide range of settings including Harvard Medical School, The University of Chicago, The Department of Veterans Affairs and over 40 different sites across two continents. Dr. Nakshabandi has extensive knowledge on a wide array of therapeutic techniques, medication management algorithms, and complementary approaches to treatment. His treatment approach is rooted in empathy and strives to heal by evoking it.

I am a board certified psychiatrist with a specialization in addiction psychiatrist. I collaboratively work with my patients to provide the most personalized care directed toward their overall wellbeing using a holistic approach deploying all the modern tools available including but not limited to medication when appropriate, individual supportive psychotherapy, and motivational interviewing.

I am a psychiatrist with many years of experience treating children, teenagers and adults. I am double-boarded, with certifications in child and adolescent psychiatry and adult psychiatry. I was drawn to medicine by a fascination with the interplay between the mind and the brain. But while the physical brain can be examined in many ways, the human mind is still best understood through a discussion of thoughts and feelings between patient and doctor.

I am a board certified adult, child & adolescent psychiatrist. I completed medical school at the University of Illinois in Chicago, a general (adult) psychiatry residency at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, and a child psychiatry fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina. The training I received in residency and fellowship has prepared me to manage essentially any psychiatric issue that comes through my clinic doors, regardless of severity or complexity.
