Dr. Chasity received a Master of Science Degree in Nursing with a concentration in Family Nurse Practitioner in May 2014. She then went on to pursue a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree with a concentration in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in August 2019. Dr. Chasity has worked in a variety of settings to include outpatient, inpatient crisis stabilization units, substance abuse detoxification and psychiatric consult liaison.

I have called Georgia home from the age of three. However, since my parents are from Chicago and South Africa, I tasted grits for the first time as an adult, later learned that a couch in the back of a pick-up is “extra seating,” and found out (the hard way) that “Bless your heart” is not a compliment. But, in true Georgia fashion, I moved to Athens to complete a Bachelor of Science at the University of Georgia, studying Medical Science through the Honors Interdisciplinary Studies program. I, then, moved to St. Louis to pursue a Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies at St. Louis University.

Dr. Yates is a board-certified Adult Psychiatrist. Her practice focuses on medication management. Typically, she offers this in conjunction with supportive therapy in 30-minute follow-up visits. However, occasionally Dr. Yates may believe that additional therapy is also needed and ask that you bring a therapist into your care team to provide the best outcome. Dr. Yates received her medical degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch in San Antonio and has over 20 years of experience as a physician. She completed residencies in both Psychiatry and Family Medicine.

I have been a broad certifying psychiatric nurse practitioner for 12 years. I specialize in the Psychiatric treatment of adolescents, adults, and some elderly patients. I provide psych evaluations and medication management of all mental illnesses. I have an extensive background in hospital care that takes into account any co-occurring medical illness. Also, I am a compassionate provider who helps patients in their time of need in a comforting manner.

I enjoy working with patients of all ages that have different needs. I use my knowledge of diet, exercise and sleep to educate patients along with the pharmacologic and therapeutic aspects. After receiving my RN license, I worked as a bedside nurse for two different hospitals from 2014-2020. In August 2020, I received MSN degree (Master of Science in Nursing) from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. I received board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from ANCC in September 2020 and started working for LifeStance Health in December 2020. I work mainly with adults age 18 until 60-year-old.
