I have extensive experience in treating patients from diverse cultural backgrounds and LGBTQ+ identifying individuals. I utilize psychotherapy in combination with medication to provide a holistic treatment to my patients. As a professional with both psychiatric and clinical knowledge (Psychiatric Board-Certified Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Master of Science in Nursing- FNP), I understand the mental strains in our lives. Hi, am the owner/ head Clinician at Hope Mental Health. When you come see me, you will get 2 providers in your care. Myself and one of my fabulous student/interns. The latter will take your medical/psych history and then I will come on and join to create the treatment plan and prescribe meds when evaluation is complete. On subsequent visits, you will see the student/intern and he/she will bring me on when needed when a change is needed to meds or the treatment plan. Our practice is integrative/functional in nature, meaning that we combine traditional psych meds with supplements, including vitamins to treat the root problem.

As a compassionate and board-certified PMHNP, I draw upon my own life experiences to guide my practice. Witnessing the impact of mental health challenges during my career in emergency medicine, I’ve developed a profound understanding and respect of the human psyche.
