Brittany Barber is a board-certified mental health nurse practitioner. Her goal is to provide excellent care to individuals suffering from mental illnesses that negatively impact their quality of life. Together, she works with patients to target the symptoms causing them distress and uses evidence-based practices to develop treatments plan that improves their quality of life. She provides medication management and supportive therapy to help patients navigate difficult life transitions. By helping patients identify the symptoms causing the most negative impact on their lives, her treatment plans are directed toward fixing symptoms.

Chloe Griffith is a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She received her undergraduate degree from Birmingham Southern College and later completed her Master's program at Vanderbilt University in 2017. Chloe aims to support her patients using personalized goals and education, brief cognitive behavioral techniques, and medications. She hopes to create an environment where clients feel empowered, connected, and valued.

I’m an Psychiatrist with over 40 years experience in the Mental Health and Behavioral Health industry. I am Board Certified ABPN since 1985. I’m experience to diagnose and prescribe medication for patients with mental health issues. I have been working for Ascend Behavioral Health Services in Psychiatry since July of 2020. We specialize in Addiction/Substance Abuse, Medication Management to treat psychiatric issues like ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, Psychosis, etc. We treat Children, Adolescent and Adult Psychiatry and Therapy.

I am a double board-certified child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist. My specialties are women's mental health, parenting, & invisible disabilities. In addition to my private practice, I serve as voluntary faculty at the University of Miami, where I have the privilege of instructing psychiatry residents and fellows, as well as those in the OBGYN departments.

His experiences in mental health began long before any of his studies. Lazaro saw firsthand how mental illness (Major Depressive Disorder) affected his mother, who sadly passed away in 2019. "I saw how mental illness consumed her, how it impacted our family, and how if left untreated can destroy and leave psychological scars". Lazaro seeks to treat each one of his clients with the same empathy and understanding that he would his mother. "I'm hopeful we can work on this together!"

As a doctorally prepared and board certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I subscribe to a blended mental health needs approach. That is, clinical expertise in diagnosing and treating mental health conditions, with an added emphasis on patient-centered care and holistic management. I aim to provide a comprehensive perspective and personal touch to psychiatric care. As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, my approach to mental health care is holistic and patient-centered in nature. I respect the autonomy of my patients and promote aligned treatment goals and collaboration in practice. I work with children, adolescents and adults exhibiting a wide range of psychiatric symptoms and stressors. I use evidence-based treatments to improve self-efficacy and restore a sense of equilibrium.

Dr. Varshney is Board Certified in General Psychiatry, Addiction Medicine and Forensic Psychiatry. Dr. Varshney was born and raised in Sikkim, India. She graduated from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, where she obtained her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree. Dr. Varshney completed her residency in psychiatry at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine/ Elmhurst Hospital Center, in New York City. She then went on to complete a fellowship in forensic psychiatry at the University of Massachusetts Medical School Worcester, Massachusetts, Department of Law and Psychiatry.

Dr. Jonas is a General Psychiatrist. He works with children, adolescents, and the elderly population. He has an extensive background in treating depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and many other disorders. When it comes to children, he has worked with the autism and ADHD population.
