We care for adults, adolescents, and children, ages 5 and above. We accept most insurance plans including Medicare.

Lourdes E. Velazquez Perez, ARNP, FNP B-C, PMHNP-BC is a professionally trained Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a strong background in psychiatric services. She is a foreign Medical Doctor who graduated in Cuba from the University of Medicine of Havana, “Calixto Garcia.” She has more than eight years of experience in the medical field. She treats patients with psychiatric conditions like depression, anxiety disorders, ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, and other mental health diagnoses. She is passionate and dedicated to her work and patients’ health outcomes.

Diana Lankenau is a board-certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse specialized in psychiatric mental health at Lankenau Health Services. In her own words: “Life is a journey. We all struggle in understanding our own thoughts, emotions, insecurities, perceptions, and behaviors. Often times, we compare ourselves to others in search for the self”. I have been in the medical field since 1999 after I graduated in 1999 as a Doctor of Medicine in Cuba and practiced for 8 years. In the United States. I certified APRN in 2020 at South University, Savannah Georgia. In 2023 I certified as a PMHNP-BC at San Thomas University. I currently work as a PMHNP. I work with populations from adolescents to older adults. Within my scope of practice, I can perform assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients' mental health needs. I perform different types of therapy and can prescribe medications for different mental health conditions. I can also perform physical evaluations.

I am a board certified psychiatrist with 16 years of clinical experience in a variety of medical settings offering expertise in both psychopharmacology and psychotherapy. My practice focus is highly personalized and evidence-based care in a professional environment of genuineness, acceptance and empathy. My goal is only one - to help you achieve your full potential. As a wellness and integrative psychiatrist, my care philosophy centers around understanding and treating the patient as a whole. Currently, I maintain a broad private practice conveniently located in Miami Beach. I offer same day, evening and weekend appointments.

Dr Alvarez is a triple board-certified psychiatrist with years of clinical experience and academic leadership. Her practice integrates cutting-edge treatments with a patient-centered focus.
