She has worked in the primary care setting, internal medicine, geriatric, and psychiatry within community-based practices, telehealth, and clinics. She transitioned from primary care to psychiatry in order to provide compassionate, informed, and effective care for a growing population of underserved clients with psychiatric disorders. I am a board certified Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who specializes in the evaluation and treatment of various mental health disorder across life span, including ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar, Schizophrenia, substance abuse, oppositional defiant disorder and antisocial personality. Collaborating with other clinicians , I also provide Individual, Couples and Family psychotherapy. My approach is Patient Centered and Comprehensive. I am a board-certified Advanced Practice Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). My career began in 1997, focusing on behavioral therapy with Autistic children in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Since then, I've completed my Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Carroll College-Columbia College of Nursing and started working in an acute care psychiatric inpatient facility. Progressing further, I earned my Master of Science in Nursing at California State University Long Beach and have worked in a variety of psychiatric settings.

I'm a strong believer in the recovery model of mental health care, where the focus is on the person, rather than the symptoms; and strive to provide evidence-based, compassionate and holistic mental health care.

She obtained her Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) degree in 2021 from the National University and is dual certified with the ANCC in psychiatry and the AANP in family practice. She is currently pursuing a psychology doctorate degree (PsyD) to improve health outcomes. She is experienced with adults, adults with addictions, complex mental health problems, geriatrics, and dementia.
