Dr. Sophie Weinberg is a double board-certified child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist. She completed her General Psychiatry residency at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, and her fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Nassau University Medical Center in Long Island, NY. Dr. Weinberg’s approach is patient-centered, collaborative, and holistic, emphasizing the importance of a healthy diet, sleep, exercise, and other pleasurable activities to heal the body and mind.

My journey to becoming a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) took a nontraditional route. Initially leaving school to work in construction, I later earned my GED, driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact in people’s lives. This realization led me to pursue and obtain my degree from Vanderbilt University, marking the beginning of my career in mental health.

Accepting clients for 100% telemedicine/online. Virtual sessions avoid traffic and waiting rooms. Confidentiality is secured through HIPPA programs. Without judgment, I address issues people suffer but do not discuss. Through years of expertise, I have heard it all. Appointments are individualized to you with training on all psychiatric diagnoses. I have plenty of appointments available for medication management. Each appointment generates a Superbill for you to submit to your insurance. Some insurances are accepted: Aetna (Arizona, Oregon, Washington) and Cigna (Arizona, Oregon, Washington).

Dr. Grove is Board Certified in General and Geriatric Psychiatry and is a Fellow of The American Society of Clinical Psychopharmacology. By implementing the biopsychosocial model, he uses both medical and psychotherapeutic techniques to treat the whole person. In addition to his private practice, Dr. Grove is a faculty staff member at the Mayo Clinic Medical School, former Vice-President of the Institute for Mental Health Research. He has been named a "Top Doc" by Phoenix Magazine.

I provide psychiatric evaluation and medication management for adults. The art of psychiatry seems to be lost these days, with the emphasis on finding a medication for each symptom. Many times the big picture is lost in the focus on specifics. People end up being on a medication for this, a medication for that, ultimately dealing with the side effects of medications instead of healing the core issues. This is not the way that I practice. I’m someone who will take the time to get to know you to help you discover what will ultimately help you feel better.
