My journey to becoming a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) took a nontraditional route. Initially leaving school to work in construction, I later earned my GED, driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact in people’s lives. This realization led me to pursue and obtain my degree from Vanderbilt University, marking the beginning of my career in mental health.
My diverse background allows me to connect deeply with patients from all walks of life, understanding firsthand the challenges they face and the hope that lies in the possibility of change. My practice is shaped by both my personal experiences and professional training, enabling me to offer compassionate, comprehensive care.
