Dr. Shailaja Emani is a board certified psychiatrist passionate about providing holistic, comprehensive, and evidence based psychiatric care. She has a wide variety of experience treating children, adolescents, and adults across treatment settings and complexity levels.

This all means that I can aid individuals in finding the balance of medications, meaning, behavior, and mind.

Most issues respond best to a combination of therapy and medications, so I provide both. My approach is strategy-focused; I offer suggestions, & you choose which to try. Medications must be an open & honest collaboration between us. I provide information about the options, and respect your informed decision. Dr. Swaminathan Thangaraj is a double-board certified adult and child/adolescent psychiatrist in Boston. He is currently an assistant professor at Drexel College of Medicine. Dr. Thangaraj also worked at McLean Hospital/Harvard University and Sheppard Pratt establishing various inpatient units. He is one of the few doctors who treats patients of all ages from toddler, adolescence to adulthood.

I am particularly skilled at working with older adolescents and young adults in their 20s and early 30s as they navigate their way into healthy adulthood.
