I am an experienced psychiatric nurse practitioner with a background helping adults, adolescents, and their families heal from a variety of mental health issues. I believe that good communication between me and my clients will improve outcomes, and this has been confirmed in my practice. My primary focus of practice is psychopharmacology (medications). I am passionate about teaching my clients about their medications, staying up to date on new research, individualizing regimens for each person I treat.

I am a Yale-educated, Cornell- and Columbia-trained psychiatrist (MD) with a PhD in neuroscience, providing customized treatment based on individual needs. I am committed to improving the wellness of my patients through a flexible and responsive approach. I specialize in psychotherapy and psychopharmacology for anxiety, OCD, ADHD, mood, and personality disorders. I am well versed in CBT, IPT, DBT, and psychodynamic psychotherapy (insight-oriented psychotherapy). I'm board certified (ABPN) in child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry. I believe that effective treatment requires getting to know patients as individuals.

Ms. Smith is New York State Licensed Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Planning may include medication management and other interventions to address client's needs. Ms. Smith will work remotely for the New Rochelle office.

Elba Bello, MD Dr. Bello employs different aspects of a child's life to come up with the most accurate diagnosis. She uses a psychosocial approach and invite the parents and child to actively participate in the treatment to ensure the most successful outcome. Dr. Bello has worked in a variety of settings including medication management, intensive outpatient treatment, day treatment and can offer many years of experience since completing her child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at Columbia University in 2005. Dr. Bello specializes in working with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and behavioral disorders.

Leila Jean Baptiste is a medical doctor with more than ten years of experience, specializing in General Adult Psychiatry, who treats patients between 18 to 65. Leila obtained her medical degree at The State University of Haiti, where she specialized and completed her training as chief resident in Pediatrics. She then moved to the USA and continued her training with a second specialization in Adult General Psychiatry at the Westchester Medical Center Hospital in Valhalla, NY. Leila has a special interest in mental health advocacy and serves as an executive member in the Haitian American Psychiatry Association(HAPA).
