I believe that mental health should be especially individualized and managed with diligence, as it is not only a facet of our well-being, but it also shapes our personality, wants, and needs, as well as our lens through which we see the world. For this reason, communication and building rapport is the foundation to my care.

Mental health and its treatment are stigmatized, rendering the initiation of treatment intimidating for many. That is why I provide a professional and empathetic space for consultation and treatment; everyone should be comfortable seeking the care they feel they need. I also utilize telepsychiatry when appropriate to increase access to care. I am dual board certified in adult general psychiatry and addiction. I have also specialized in clinical training in sex therapy and I am affiliated with NYU's Program in Human Sexuality. I offer both treatment for patients and supervision for other mental health professionals.

Mark is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and Adult Health Nurse Practitioner. He provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and psychotherapy to all individuals. He has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a master’s degree in Nursing from The Ohio State University. He has specialized training in managing mental health for clients living with HIV, and substance use problems. He strives to provide an anti-racist, LGBTQ affirming, non-judgmental, open, honest environment for all clients to express openly and create the change you seek.
