Mark is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and Adult Health Nurse Practitioner. He provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management to all individuals. He has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a master’s degree in Nursing from The Ohio State University. He has specialized training in managing mental health for clients living with HIV, and substance use problems. He strives to provide an anti-racist, LGBTQ affirming, non-judgmental, open, honest environment for all clients to express openly and create the change you seek.
We will work with you to give you the tools you need to be successful. This may be through medications and therapy. Mark uses a combination of medication with psychodynamic, mindfulness, and other talk therapies. His areas of expertise include depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, ADHD, T/GNB health, and substance use.
In the first session, about one hour, we will discuss the needs you have and match that with the appropriate treatment options. In the following sessions, about 20-25 min long, we discuss what progress you've made and come up with a plan for the coming weeks.
