From the time of the first appointment (and consistently thereafter), the patient and I will review their reasons for seeking care, discuss current challenges and stressors, and identify treatment goals. This information guides my formulation of an individualized treatment plan tailored to the patient’s specific needs and objectives.
When it comes to patient care, I strive to maintain a holistic approach. in addition to my work as a Psychiatric & Mental Health NP I am also board certified as an Adult/Gerontological NP. Given this commitment, I have practiced integrated psychiatric & medical care for over a decade. I believe this foundation contributes to a well-informed treatment plan.
I believe the provider–patient relationship should be individualized to each patient’s needs. There is no "one size fits all."
